What Remains is Dust
Unfolding and changing over time, and incorporating unusual materials and domestic objects, “What Remains is Dust” is a meditation on the 'objects left behind', engaging memory, joy and loss. This installation investigates the narrative power of objects and how they act upon and elicit memory.
The artwork uses every day objects in a form of collective mourning. This project is both personal and universal: the installation is emotionally resonant for everyone who has held an object in one’s hands and been washed over by a recollection.
