Fragments is part of an ongoing series based on inventories of domestic objects, in which many small parts make up much larger installations. It touches on ideas of class and identity – how our possessions are our surrogates: how we define and signal to the world who we are by what we own. When I began “Fragments” it was also partly a protest that the domestic realm is often ignored in contemporary art.

These individual segments are never shown alone, only in combination, which varies from venue to venue depending on space and the number of "Fragments" available.
