I wanted my project to involve people who used the forest in their everyday lives. The work was conducted entirely in the open at a place where paths intersect. As people passed by, I invited them to work with me. People of all types stopped and talked, and helped me mix or build. Occasionally this presented difficulties, as when enthusiastic children knocked down one of the structures.
