The Wine Dark Sea/Greece
In 2023 I was a fellow at the Skopelos Center for the Arts, on Skopelos,in the Aegean sea. I did several bodies of work there, including sculptures, paintings and videos using materials on the island: olive oil, honey, red wine and clay amphorae in traditional shapes, along with with blue and white pigments, to reference the Greek flag and the white buildings against the blue sea.
