As the sun streamed through the windows, the light would pass through one vase and cast colored light on another. As one moved around the vases, the colors would refract and change. The image of the sea and sky across the street were captured, distorted or turned upside down in the reflections in the water. The colors in the vases changed subtly everyday, as I needed to (carefully) top them off to counteract evaporation, and I would slightly change some of the hues depending on the color of the water I added.
