This article about my Migrant Objects project was commissioned for the museum's publication section, available for free download. The project responds to one of the central ideas of the The Frans Hals Museum: that Museums are Transhistorical, and" The Museum is ‘Fact’ and ‘Fiction’ recognizing that a speculative story can be just as interesting as a scientific one. The museum teaches, but it amazes, moves and astonishes as well. It is a fact factory, but also a place where the imagination is inspired to be capricious and dissenting.
