Jane Addams was a supporter of women's rights, and of suffrage. As a way of referencing the continued need for action, we also created a large banner, similar to the sash used by the National Women's Party, and wrapped it across the pillars in front of her house. Pinned to the sash and available for people to take home were pins in the same colors, with 'suffRAGE' emblazoned across the middle.
