Vesalius based his anatomical studies on human dissection, leading to enormous advancement in the understanding of surgery. However, since his approach meant overturning many of the revered Galen's ideas, he was fearful of the reaction he would receive, and held off publishing for several years.
For this piece I took all the anatomy books from the IMSS library, and built a podium for Veselius
