A vintage copy of Jane Addam's famous book: "Twenty years at Hull House" is placed on a pedestal'd serving dish (connoting both honor and serving others). Hand cut and punched leather bookmarks are fanned in its pages, and arrayed around the base, as gifts for visitors. As they were taken by visitors they were replenished.
