Schip-Schaip/ The Public Historian
The Public Historian commissioned a piece of writing that functions in the same way some of my installations function: to creatively engage with the idea of how we use historic research to categorize and build narratives for the past. In this case, in a back-to-the-future move, I took inspiration from Jules Verne and imagined a newsletter from an association of scholars in the future, in the year 2065. I especially wanted to posit sensorially and associationally rich development of not-yet-invented technologies... click on the image to go to the text
