The Public Historian commissioned a piece of writing that functions in the same way as some of my installations: to creatively engage with the idea of how we use historic research to categorize and build narratives for the past. In this case, in a back-to-the-future move, I imagined a newsletter from an association of scholars in the year 2065. I especially wanted to posit sensorially and associationally rich development of not-yet-invented technologies...
