The rugs frame the leather pieces. The leather is harvested from old couches.

In my imagined power struggle between the rug and the couch, the couch asks Sigmund: "Why am I always covered with this rug? Why put a layer between me and those who come to see you, Doctor? Are you afraid of letting my hide touch theirs, rubbing skins, cell to cell?"
